What was our role?
Hunter’s tracks down vu
Hunter’s came to Vu with a need for a new website and Vu identified a market opportunity to unify the approach to their branding, bottle labeling, printed materials and website that would reflect the quality and craftsmanship in their beers and help them present themselves as a leading national brand. Although well-established in Devon it needed to reinvent the way it marketed itself in order to help its business grow and to reach new beer enthusiasts who have yet to discover the Hunter’s brand.
“Our expectations have been surpassed! the whole team are helpful and friendly and brilliant at what they do!”
– Paul Hunter – Owner Hunter’s Brewery
Lively craft beers
In addition to its reputation for quality brews Hunter’s unique selling point is the fact that it bottle conditions its beers, however this wasn’t coming across on its previous website. Bottle conditioning involves leaving the yeast in the beer and allowing it to become naturally carbonated, with this in mind we set about making the Hunter’s brand more lively.
Brewing quality branding
Although Hunter’s had a clear brand identity when it came to its website and labels it was an inconsistent one. Vu distilled the essence of the previous branding then crafted into something with a stronger flavour, something that stands out online and on a shelf. The Hunter’s brand is now consistent across its website and labels and its identity as a brewer of quality beers much clearer.
Pouring the perfect website
The new responsive website offers visitors a much better experience with a design that looks modern yet reflects the traditional method of brewing that is at the core of the Hunter’s brand. The bottled beers with their new labels are at the heart of the website, while the Hunter’s story and its ethos of being a proud local brewery is given greater prominence.
