Although Sarah Downham-Lotto had an existing site she needed something new that better reflected the ethos of her artwork and her workshops, which was also more mobile-friendly. Following an initial meeting, VU was able to pin down what Sarah wanted – a more engaging site that captured her personality and helped to grow her business.

Responsive Artwork

A key feature of the site needed to be a responsive design. The old site was not optimised for mobile users, so it was important that the new one adapt itself to different screen sizes. The new design was led by the style of Sarah’s artwork adding more of her personality, and her passion for creating positive creative experiences.

Gallery Plan

In addition to the other aims the site’s purpose was to make it easier for people to make enquiries about buying paintings and booking Sarah’s workshops, while making the journey more personal. Visitors are now provided with more information and testimonials to help them make more informed decisions when they fill in the contact form.

Primed for Success

Sarah’s new website not only offers a better user experience but will also help her to generate more leads and grow her business. It fulfills the project targets set out in the initial meetings while the process of reaching this goal has helped Sarah to take a fresh approach to how she will develop her business going forwards.
