Goulden & Sons is a well-established family-run construction business that also offers environmental building solutions. They approached Vu with a challenge to reinvent their website and branding in a way that reflected the three generations of expertise the business is built on, but in a refreshing and modern way.

Showing off Goulden & Son’s portfolio of projects was central to the new site, highlighting the quality of their construction work through high gloss photography in a way the current site wasn’t. Another key part of the project was making sure the Goulden & Son’s story was communicated better, proving to visitors why they’re a business that can be trusted. Vu decided to pursue slab serif font for a balance of old and new and a modern full width grid layout.

Through a clean and responsive design Vu has brought the company’s portfolio to life online, telling the story of each build through images and clearly demonstrating why the projects stand out.
