Browser support policy

Using a modern browser is the best way to ensure that websites run securely and effectively.  For this reason we encourage you to upgrade to the latest version as this they will provide you with a better experience of most websites.

Our policy in relation to sites that we build is to support:

  • The latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, all of which automatically update when they detect a new version of the browser is available.
  • Current and previous major releases of Safari. So for example when Safari 10 is released, we’ll drop official support for Safari 8 and just support Safari 10 and 9.
  • Internet Explorer 11 remains supported at this stage, but we stop supporting Microsoft browsers when Microsoft do.

If there is a specific requirement for certain browsers to be supported we will take this into account and cost it into any proposal of services.
