It's making the design, the message and the functionality work together that's exciting. I enjoy technology that makes these connections easier to build and makes it easier for clients to manage their businesses.

How can technology boost ecommerce sales?

By making it easier and more gratifying to shop on your site, people will tend to purchase more. Simple things like not reloading the page when adding an item to your basket can reduce the user's frustration and increase sales.

What does customer-facing mean?

We build websites that have two parts to them, they are connected, but for different audiences. One part is our web content management system for our clients to manage their online business. The other part is their customer-facing, public website.

How can technology be 'creative'?

Technology is the enabler for creative ideas to flourish. Take Facebook for example. There is a lot of underlying technology there that allows people to express themselves. You don't think about how it works, it just does.
