How do campaigns work in social spaces?

Each of the social networks offers a form of advertising. However, we have found that it is more effective to run the campaigns within your own network of followers, such as deals to your Facebook fans.

Do you have an example of social media working for one of your clients?

We run a successful on-going social marketing campaign on Facebook for one of our clients. On certain occasions we run an offer just for the fans and the return on investment on it is well over 400%.

Is social a fad, or is it here to stay?

The underlying concept of social business is relationships. The tools we use today, like Facebook, may not be around in 5 years. So it's more important to practice the principles, and use the tools that are most relevant to your customers.

How do you know what to say to people?

The art of conversation. I make it about the other person, not me. To be relevant I listen first, then chime in. It's about what those customers need, what their concerns are, and what interests them.
